The term crystal skull pertains to a model of a human skull that has been crafted from a variety of quartz crystals and other minerals (stones) produced by Mother Earth herself.
There are three different types of crystal skulls; namely,
(1) NEW / CONTEMPORARY
Manufactured by modern carvers in such places as Brazil and China, these skulls come in all shapes and sizes. The skulls that I am guardian to all belong in this category.
(2) OLD
These are the skulls that were crafted anywhere from 100 to 1000 years ago. A number of these skulls have been discovered within or near ancient ruins in Mexico or Central America.
(3) ANCIENT
These are the skulls that range anywhere from 1500 to 2000 in age. At the present time, there is no known scientific procedure that has been used to successfully determine the date of a crystal skull. To date, there are a number of different ideas and/or theories as to how one can definitively identify a crystal skull as being ancient. These skulls appear to have links to different Mesoamerican cultures, as well as possible ties with various Native American tribes or nations within North America.
These three classifications were originated by the Society of Crystal Skulls International in an attempt to distinguish the different type of skulls that currently exist. According to Crystal Skull Explorers, Joshua Shapiro and Blue Arrow Rainbow, most of the so-called very old or ancient crystal skulls are surrounded by a very intense energy field that many people are able to sense or feel. This energy field can be quite strong as well as powerful.
Crystal skulls have been deemed to be important. Why?

The Crystal Skulls function like our modern-day computers and were used in this capacity by various (advanced?) civilizations in our past. They contain hidden knowledge and information that when it is the time for this to be revealed will ultimately assist humanity to create a Golden Age of peace and harmony upon our world!
They were a powerful tool for healing [Body Mind Spirit] within such cultures as the Mayans, the Aztecs or even the Atlanteans.
We have witnessed many people’s lives being profoundly affected after having had an opportunity to spend time in the presence of a very old crystal skull. And even now, these type of phenomena are beginning to happen around the ‘Contemporary Crystal Skulls’ as well. Could the crystal skulls then, be a type of mini energy vortex or better yet a catalyst that is helping people to awaken to their true spiritual nature?
Joshua shares that perhaps the crystal skulls are a visual reminder for all of us that we are members of the same spiritual family who must unite now and work together in a cooperative manner to create the type of world we seek. Since the first moment I came into contact with my first crystal skull (Ami), I have always felt that the skulls are a confirmation of the prophecies that discuss a major transformation that our world will and is going through. So perhaps, if we each would just follow the inspiration in our heart and our soul, how to best live our lives, we can make a difference and help to bring forth a peaceful planet.
Joshua and Blue Arrow Rainbow suggest participating in a Crystal Skull Meditation for World Peace that involves meditating for a period of 10/15 minutes on a Sunday. They offer 3 different time frames so that the individual may choose the time frame that works best for them. Of course, in working with their EST slots as given for New York City, I have to add an extra 1 ˝ hours given my time frame here in Newfoundland, Canada.
8:00 am EST (NY) = 9:30 am NL = 1:00 pm (UK) = 10:00 pm (SYDNEY)
12:00 NOON EST (NY) = 1:30 pm NL = 5:00 pm (UK) = 2:00 am (SYDNEY, on a Monday morning)
6:00 pm EST = 7:30 pm NL = 11:00 pm (UK) = 8:00 am (SYDNEY, on a Monday morning)
In much the same way that computers on the net are interconnected and can send and receive information from each other, I believe that all of the crystal skulls on the planet are interconnected through some type of etheric energy network. As one’s crystal skull awakens (becomes activated), it can both receive information and project outwards from this energy network and/or from any crystal skull that is linked to it.
How does one perform this meditation?
Hold you crystal skull in any way that is comfortable for you and in which direction seems correct. If you are sitting, the skull might be positioned in your lap. If you are lying down, the skull might be positioned either by your side or on top of part of your body. Listening to peaceful and soothing music can serve to amplify the energy of the meditation.
Take a minute or two to do a relaxation or breathing exercise. When you are ready, see a beam of light come from the main antenna (that extends upwards to infinity) and touch your skull in its third eye. As the energy begins to build between you and your skull, focus on feeling a loving and peaceful energy inside of you. We find that visualizing this energy from the antenna in a pink color is helpful.
When you feel ready, begin to send this powerful but harmonious energy out of your body into your room. Wait for a few moments before you continue, then into your home, out into the city where you live, in the provincial area where you live. See this loving energy fill your entire country. Finally, watch as this loving and peaceful energy covers the entire planet, touching all the living beings that inhabit our beautiful Mother Earth.
Before you return to your body (coming back the same path you traveled out / from the planet, to your country, to your provincial area, etc ....) pick one location on the planet that you feel drawn to that has great unrest or could use the most the loving energy we have generated for this mediation, sending this place a little extra light, love and healing energy.
For some people this meditation can be very powerful. You may have some interesting visions. You may need a few minutes to re-ground yourself following the meditation. As you participate, it will help to energize and activate your own crystal skull.
The goal of this meditation is to send out a loving and peaceful energy to our world which will then be further amplified by the energy of the skulls. Many people have found that during this type of meditation they are able to receive some healing energies for themselves. You may also receive further clarity about a situation in your life as well.
