Book 15: Vicarius Christi: The Vicar of Christ

SYNOPSIS

The Vicar of Christ, or Vicarius Christi, is a term, in keeping with the Papacy, that generally refers to the earthly representative of God or Christ; a most specific term (first appearing in the 5th century) used in reference to the Bishop of Rome (also known as the Pope). This author, while setting the historical stage, believes that all can aspire to becoming a Vicar of Christ. Clearly, then, this can be viewed as the end goal for each of us; one based on both enlightenment and transcendence.

One Of My All-Time Favorites; Highly Recommended

It is my utmost yearning that these words, cited herein, will become the reality of the greater multitude.

Vicarius Christi begins with a history lesson that will shake you to your very core. A truth so profound, it will change the old belief patterns and open the door for a new and more truthful reality. Chapter one sets the stage by informing the reader of the facts that document the self- proclaimed power of the RC Church, based on a centuries old forged document, The Donation of Constantine. I do not want to expound on this in detail, but highly recommend you read it for yourself. This fact driven chapter will open your eyes to the truth, based on well researched and verified detail.

Once the stage is set in chapter one, we learn how to use this information for the “better good, the good of all” and how to progress on our own journey to self. As in her previous books, the author uses a simple, conversational style that is easy to read and understand. Quotes from several well respected authors are included as is the bibliography at the end of the book. The author recommends additional reading and websites to further enrich the information found within this book.

The author of several spiritual books, Michele Doucette, excels in research which is evident in this book. Her specialty is the historical significance of Knights Templar, Cathars, and the search for the Holy Grail. She has made it her mission to bring the truth to light and encourage change.
