(3) When a quartz crystal is placed with another crystal it enhances the other's energy
(4) For stones which bring blockages to the surface but do not dissolve them, such as Lapis Lazuli, Obsidian, and Malachite, you can partner them with a quartz, which does have dissolving abilities.
