In giving thanks to William H. Marshall for having inspired her with his words, Michele sees part of her mission as making a measurable positive difference on our world.

The quality of our world depends upon the quality of our thoughts as individuals. If the majority of individuals are positive and successful, then society itself will naturally be positive, successful, and prosperous. If, however, the majority of people are negative, hateful, and unsuccessful, then people will live in unhappy, unsuccessful, perhaps even dire circumstances. In keeping with the phenomenal text As a Man Thinketh by James Allen ... so, too, thinketh's a society.

Looking at it this way, each of us has an individual responsibility to be positive and to help others be positive. If you, too, will take it upon yourself to condition your mind be positive, to help other people, to be successful, to fill your life with happiness, then I will have accomplished one of my primary objectives.

Likewise, if you are able to share information about these e-books with others, and the information contained within is of some benefit to them, then our purpose continues to be fulfilled.

Herein is the key. If you help two people, and they help two people, and so on and so forth, it is through the miraculous power of compounded growth that we can create massive social improvement for all. The mission of THE ENLIGHTENED SCRIBE, henceforth, revolves around making a measurable positive difference in our world.

Gotta love that ripple effect.

Veracity At Its Best by Michele Doucette

Veracity comes from the Latin word veritas, meaning verifiable truth.

The only constant in life is that of change. All is constantly unfolding, evolving, growing. While there was a time when I feared change, I now embrace it wholeheartedly.

The next most important constant in my life is that of truth. I was so sure that the way to gnosis, nirvana and enlightenment was through a multitude of books and CD programs, metaphysical tools and spiritual teachers.

It feels so much more liberating to know that, whilst all of these may come into our lives, they serve merely to help us develop, strengthen and acknowledge our own inner teacher.

Clearly, what we are seeking exists within. This book will assist the reader in doing the same.

Released in August 2010 as a paperback edition (200 pages) on AMAZON (US), AMAZON (CANADA) and AMAZON (UK). REVIEWS available.

AUTOGRAPHED COPIES are also available from AUTHOR for $16.95 US and $20.00 CDN (plus shipping and handling).

The Collective: Essays on Reality by Michele Doucette

A collection of two essays, the personal experience of this author has dictated that one must first acknowledge what appears to be happening before reconfiguring the responses of their past; hence, The Collective: Essays on Reality presents material that may elicit uncertainty and confusion for some readers.

Essay One was written to better inform the reader so that he/she can work on actively disengaging from the Matrix.

Essay Two focuses on different ways in which one can more effectively work towards changing themselves.

Seek ye (knowledge) so that ye may find (knowledge) for it is positive energy that nourishes the soul and truth that liberates.

Germain Doucet (Sieur de LaVerdure)
Ancestry of Michele Doucette

Forthcoming WINTER 2011.

A personal history of the author, Michele Doucette spent 15 years compiling, validating and sourcing information as well as collecting pertinent documents (birth and/or baptismal, marriage, death), meticulously taking the time to piece it all together, generation by generation.

Germain Doucet, Sieur de LaVerdure, was the first Doucet to come to Acadie, the progenitor of all persons who bear this surname, be it in the form of Doucet or Doucette.

While the author's family was exiled from Port Royal to Massachusetts on December 8, 1755 where they can be found as early as 1757, principally in Gloucester, before returning to Nova Scotia in 1766.

The following year, 1767, many Acadian families petitioned Governor Franklin of Nova Scotia for land on which to settle. As they were Roman Catholic, they could not be granted land. However, on December 23, 1767, the Governor allotted them land along the shore of Baie Sainte-Marie, today known as St. Mary's Bay.

The next year, 1768, the land was surveyed and the township of Clare was laid out along Baie Sainte-Marie. Joseph Doucet settled near what is today called Church Point. The records show that after completing the necessary requirements, he was granted title to Lot 58 (103 acres) in the township of Clare on May 18, 1775. He lived there for the rest of his life as a fisherman and a farmer. Several of his sons, namely Joseph, Charles, Jean Magloire and Michel, settled further south in Yarmouth County, the area of this author's roots.

Will contain consanguinity charts, scanned copies of original documents, pictures and pedigree charts for visual referencing.
