In reading The Biggest Secret you must keep an open mind since much of the content that it contains challenges everything we have been taught by conventional educators as we know it today. The Biggest Secret could also be aptly named The Biggest Lie since much of what we have been told by our religious and educational establishment has been according to Icke ... a LIE. He successfully cites why all we know and have been told (whether it is the medical, educational or political elite as we know it) has been a scam by the Establishment. He quotes, proves, and shows us that the theory of "elite" or "reptilian" influence has controlled our world for thousands of years. Whether you believe it or not, the book certainly makes one stop and think that perhaps all is not what it seems in our troubled society. Icke has shown that we may be pawns in a game that the human race has no control over due to our brainwashing and conditioned educational background. Hopefully, we will wake up and realize that we have been duped by an "outside" influence. Once we realized this, we can become free to control our own destiny on this planet we call Earth. |
David Icke is one of the most controversial "conspiracy theorists" in the world. Whilst it is true, most of his ideas can be found elsewhere, he has an exceptional ability to synthesize theories and explain them in an easy to understand and entertaining style. He also draws a lot from contemporary culture, especially movies, as with his use of the term "matrix" to describe our current state. His main message is that virtually everything we have been taught to believe by mainstream society is FALSE. Governments, the media, big business, mainstream medicine, education and so forth, all promote an agenda designed to keep us deceived and enslaved. Some of the most controversial material in his books involve the "reptilians." Some may criticize the fact that Icke spends at least 90% of the book telling us about all the lies, brutality and deception (the sections on the US war against Iraq are depressing and graphic) and the other 10% telling us how it's all an illusion. Even though he concludes by saying we should neither fear nor hate those who are deceiving us, the sheer quantity of evil deeds he exposes makes it difficult to walk away with a positive outlook. I would like to see him shift his emphasis a little more in the direction of the mysticism he clearly embraces and give a little less attention to all the darkness. Not that we should deny the darkness, but once you know it's there, it becomes redundant to identify every form it takes. Everything Else Is Illusion David Icke's new book picks up where the final section of his Tales From The Time Loop left off - in examining the nature of consciousness and reality. There is less focus on the details of Illuminati history and more examination of how all is a virtual reality game - the "Matrix" - generated by Consciousness itself to challenge itself and explore the possibilities of existence when separation and limitation are the basis of perception. This book seems, to me, a positive step for Icke. All things considered, based on the former, this a great book to expand your mind with and help in deprogramming onself from the confines of this experiential reality matrix. The illusions exist only as consciousness perceives itself in limited (filtered, programmed) ways. Icke is a truly groundbreaking author in connecting holistic science, spiritual development, and research into dark polarity power structures. By helping us understand these topics he has employed some nice wit and come to the realization that it's all an Illusion of sorts. |
David Icke reveals some startling facts behind the people/events/organisations/ that have controlled and influenced our lives right up to the present day. Everything you know is wrong. Forget the 'news' reports focussing on Mr.Icke's sanity. Once you have read what he has to say you will realise why the controlled (and controlling) media, want his reputation ruined. Those who argue "If what he says is true, he would have been bumped off by now" just don't get it. Character assassination is the weapon of choice. Icke is a hugely courageous man. |

If you are not familiar with David Icke or Jon Rappoport, do a web search on them. What you will find will either turn you off or light a fire of curiosity that will burn with the intensity of Truth. This book is a good place to glean the basic concepts of Icke's philosophy, as Rappoport conducts the interview. Rappoport is an impressive author in his own right, which other reviewers didn't comment on for some reason. At a time when what passes for "journalism" in this country isn't worth the time it takes to turn on the TV, Rappoport asks the hard questions and does the dirty digging to get to the bottom of issues that we just don't look at hard enough. His willingness to give Icke credibility says a lot. Yes, Icke does some reaching, but we underestimate the potential of technology and its roots to our own detriment. Approach this book with an open mind, and don't make it the last one you read on the subject. When you decide to stop seeking, it will be because you no longer want to know -- not because it isn't true. It's not a pretty picture, but it is only by looking at it clearly that we will be able to do anything about it at all. |
David Icke tells it like it is without pulling any punches. Read this book if you have the guts to question your newfound patriotism. This book is comprehensive and well researched. Point by point, David tears apart the official story and presents evidence of US governmental involvement in planning and executing this horrible event. But, what sets this book apart from the other books on this issue, is that David also focuses attention on the forgotten victims of this tragedy - the women and children of Afghanistan who have been bombed into oblivion in an attempt to punish the predetermined patsy, Osama Bin Laden (who, as David documents, the US government never intended to capture or bring to justice). While much of the information in the book has been widely available on the net, there is also alot of new material in here as well. But, what sets David apart from the rest is his ability to present the evidence in a manner that is concise, clearly articulated, frank and passionate. You will probably read alot of negative things about David (that he is a crackpot, that his theories are too wild, or even that he is just writing books to sustain his lecture and video racket). I cannot imagine how any intelligent person could read this book and dismiss him or his facts so carelessly. If you really care about this country, if you really care about democracy and freedom and if you have a moral sense of right and wrong, the information in this book will change how you view the US government and its leaders. It will change how you see the world. |
