Acting From Love and Pure Intent

Each one of us has a special gift. Each one of us is a different manifestation of the Divine. It is not meant that we follow each other in comparison or competition. It is meant that we each honor ourselves and one another for the unique expression of God that we choose to create.

When we follow our inner calling, we are honoring God because it is through the pure expression of the soul that God is able to create. When we are doing what we enjoy, the soul's beauty shines through. When we are doing it for no other reason, there is a purity that is beautiful and transcendent. Observe a child playing in the park. Watch as he runs through the grass, chases a butterfly or builds a sand castle. He is purely expressing his soul, as it wishes to be expressed at that moment in time. There is no expression that is better than another, in spite of our perception that some expressions are "spiritual" and some are not. An accountant, who truly enjoys his job, takes pride in work and feels fulfilled in his worldly expression, is just as much a beautiful expression of the soul as is the child chasing the butterfly. With this understanding, everything is spiritual. Every endeavor we wish to pursue is an expression of God. When that endeavor serves who we are inside, it becomes beautiful outside. When we do what we love, it naturally flows through us. Time seems to have no meaning and our spirits are lifted.

When we are being true, love and pure intent shines through and abundance is the result. Abundance in all of life's pleasures and experiences. Struggle comes from the ego. Struggle comes from our past actions of acting to serve our ego, or the ego of another. When you do only what you love, your actions are from pure intent. That pure intent is the soul's expression of God, which naturally leads to more experiences of God's love in and through you. Many people mistakenly go through life doing what others want them to do, and going against what they feel within themselves. They do this out of guilt, obligation, conditioning and misplaced duty. What they don't realize is that in doing so, they are creating more of the same for themselves and are unknowingly keeping God's light from shining through to others. When you act from joy and love, you experience joy and love. When you act from duty and resentment, you experience more duties and resentment. To change the pattern of your life takes courage. You will have to go against the established "norm" that others expect of you. In discovering your true self, you have to let go of the old one. In becoming a pure vessel for the Divine light to shine through, you have to be clear on who and what you wish to create and experience in your life.

It is important that we honor what Spirit has given us to express. Your life experiences are gifts of Spirit, given to you so that you may in turn help another, teach another, uplift another or heal another. They are your unique manifestation God. They are what makes you different from another and they are the filter through which you experience and perceive the world. It may seem haphazard, but each of our lives is a piece of the puzzle that fits together in a cohesive and uniform way, to create a Whole. Each piece is needed. Each piece is an intricate portion of the Divine plan. If one piece is not allowed to be what it was intended to be, the Whole becomes less than it could be.

So many people are in jobs that they don't like. They feel their current job no longer fits who they are becoming. They seek a more "spiritual" job, something that would allow them the opportunity to express their inner awareness externally. There are infinite ways to express God. You don't have to be a hypnotherapist, masseuse, Reiki practitioner, intuitive counselor or alternative health advisor to align yourself with Spirit. Rather than look to the outside world and try to fit into the "box"of an existing profession for fulfillment, why not look for fulfillment within yourself first - then let that be your expression externally. This is the opposite of the way most people operate. The usual method is to try to match yourself to something external. To live and create in conscious awareness, we need to allow ourselves to be what we are, focusing within ourselves first, and letting that flow externally on it's own. This is an expression of God that flows naturally, and arises out of being, rather than doing. Act when you are inwardly directed and motivated to, not when you are externally prodded to.

Allow yourself to do what brings you joy. Make the choice today to act only out of love or not at all. As you do this, the imbalances in your life will drop away, as will the unhealthy situations and relationships. You must choose whom to serve and what to create. Your actions in this world are important, so align them with your inner light and follow your heart.
